Troy Kenneth Aikman played for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys for his entire career; he was the 1989 number one overall draft pick, after which he played 12 consecutive seasons with the Cowboys as their starting quarterback, earning six Pro Bowl selections during his tenure. He also managed to help the team win three Super Bowls during his careers, culminating in an MVP selection in Super Bowl XXVII. He ended his professional playing career as the Cowboys all-time leading passer and held the record for most career wins in a decade by any quarterback until it was broken by Paton Manning in the 2000s.
