Camilo Hurtado Campos, 63, is being held on charges of child rape and sexual exploitation of a minor. Detectives are expected to file several additional charges. Franklin police said at least 10 young boys, between the ages of nine and 17, were drugged, raped and filmed by Campos.
When staff members searched the phone of a Tennessee football coach while trying to reach the owner, they discovered “dozens of disproportionate videos and images of children,” according to investigators.
The Franklin Police Department said in a press release Sunday that after searching the phone, they discovered “hundreds of disturbing videos and images,” including videos of him raping “unconscious children.”

Camilo Hurtado Campos has lived in the Franklin region for 20 years, according to Franklin police. The police claimed that he would enlist the boys to play for his squad in the playgrounds of neighboring schools.
“After gaining his trust, Campos invited many of the children to his home where he drugged and then raped them,” Franklin police said. The investigation continues as police work to identify the young children.

“Working with local schools, detectives identified two of his victims,” Franklin police said. “Police hope that people familiar with Campos can help them put a name with the faces of the remaining victims.” Detectives said the children in the videos were in “such an unconscious state” that they may not realize they are victims.
