In the early and mid-2000s, he took part in web-based rap battles on the now-old virtual entertainment stage Orkut. After gaining some appreciation on that stage, he started making his own tunes.

In 2008, he helped create a hip-jump triplet called Machas With Attitude (MWA). The gathering was disbanded in 2013 to seek liberal professions, not long after the making of a song called Ready Steady Po for the Hindi-language satire film Chennai Express.

A free independent craftsman, his mixtape called Deathpunch (2011), delivered to a limited audience, had captured the attention of the hip bounce clique and free music circuit in South India.

In 2013, he signed an agreement with the record name Sony Music Entertainment India. He had delivered a famous single called Aigiri Nandini (2014) with them but had abandoned the target in 2015, alluding to imaginative contrasts.

In order to advance the hip-jump music in India, Brodha V coordinated the leading Indian rap figure in Bengaluru in 2014. The resulting releases of the occasion were coordinated in urban areas such as Delhi and Mumbai.

In 2015, he was awarded the Renault Free the Music Award in recognition of his commitment to the autonomous music scene in India.

His 2020 single, called Flex, had amassed multi-million dollar views across virtual entertainment venues in approximately 45 hours of delivery.

His stage name, Brodha V, comes from two components – the primary component stands for brotherhood while the second represents his original name, Vighnesh.
