The suspect is briefly out of camera frame, reappearing moments later without the animal when flames erupt nearby.

The dog was taken to a shelter the next day. On August 25, A Purposeful Rescue, an animal rescue group, removed Henessey from the shelter and immediately rushed her to an animal hospital. Several days later she succumbed to her injuries.
