While Bonida is anything but a real drug, it is just like Boniva. As stated by WebMD, Boniva is used to prevent and resolve a number of types of bone accidents (osteoporosis). Since the two drugs are used to treat bone accidents, this could be the prescription Grace and Frankie are alluding to.
“The Bonida Bandidas” In Grace and Frankie, Dr. Ramirez Bonida for Arlene, so Grace and Frankie travel to Mexico to meet him (Marsha Mason). The better half of Dr. Ramirez tells the police about the couple, disrupting the Bonida Bandidas’ plan.
Effortlessly, he crosses the line with Bonida on his tail, but Frankie makes some hard memories and (accidentally) winds himself into another drug-carrying activity.
