Benafsha Soonawalla (born 2 October 1996 in South Mumbai , Maharashtra) is an Indian actress and host. Benafsha Soonawalla was an MTV VJ when she entered the industry as a teenager and then went on to portray roles in the Netflix film ‘Chopsticks’ and in the zoom studio flick ‘Pyaar dosti hai’ .She was also recently seen hosting a show called ‘The gypsies’ on the travel channel travelxp. She is known for her pretty, confident and witty self and has always been a hot topic amongst the youth .
Benafsha Soonawalla is an Indian actress and VJ for MTV India. She is known for her participation in television reality shows, MTV Roadies X4 and Big Boss 11. She made her acting debut in bollywood with Netflix Originals film Chopsticks in 2019.
Benafsha Soonawalla was born and brought up in Mumbai. She completed her undergraduate studies from the H.R. College of Commerce and Economics in 2017 and received a master’s degree from the ISME School of Management and Entrepreneurship in 2018.
Soonawalla began her career in 2016 with competing in the reality show MTV Roadies X4: Your Gang, Your Glory. She worked with the MTV India as a video jockey for the show MTV Campus Diaries. In 2017, she hosted the Linkedin MTV Get A Job and MTV Trackstar for first two seasons. She contested in the Big Boss Season 11 where she got evicted from the house in the seventh week. She hosted MTV’s Box Cricket League in 2018.
In 2019, she hosted the Indian fashion reality television series MTV Pantaloons Style Super Stars which was telecasted on the MTV. She made debut in bollywood with Netflix’s Originals film Chopsticks, directed by Sachin Yardi where she played the role of Ananya. As of 2021, she is hosting The Gypsies a Travel Show by Travelxp alongside Krissan Barretto.
