Season 20 of the popular reality competition series Top Culinary Expert aired a new episode straight out of the box on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 9pm ET on Bravo. He reported an excess of competitors engaging in a series of difficulties. Throughout the episode, gourmet specialists do their best to make fantastic dishes and dazzle the designated authorities. Although she began her career pursuing modern design at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the gourmet expert eventually changed course to pursue her culinary vocation.
When Begoña was 20 years old, she ventured to Amsterdam to gain a wealth of experience to further her culinary dream. She worked with the Amsterdam Marriott Inn under the direction of Chief Culinary Specialist Nick Reade. The gourmet specialist worked in the Netherlands for over eight years before moving to London and working at the Aquarium.
After gaining enough experience for a long time, she returned to her old neighborhood of Valencia, Spain and opened her most memorable cafe, La Salita, in 2005. In addition to winning the Top Gourmet Specialist Spain award, she is also known for her appearances on El foodie in 2017 and The Last Dinner in 2020.
Tonight’s episode of specialist Top Gourmet saw the contenders prepare for a new day of hardship straight out of the box. They invested some quality energy talking to their families and went to the kitchen only to be greeted by Padma Lakshmi and a room full of honey containers. They also met the guest judge, Michelin star gourmet connoisseur Adam Cuiding.
For the rapid fire challenge, the gourmet specialists needed to cook a celebratory dish using mead (aged cocktail) and honey. They had 30 minutes to cook a festival-driven dish they remembered most. As Begoña floated through the main test, things quickly changed.
At the end of the challenge, the competitors had to cook family-style dishes fueled by their number 1 events. They needed to prepare for a similar dinner and were given a sum of £1,000 to share and spend on food. While the purchases went well, the cooking time in the kitchen was personal and unpleasant.
Begoña’s dish was one of the most unpleasant, according to the designated authorities. While she received no comment from them, the culinary expert arrived on base with individual candidates Buddha and Gabri. The adjudicators felt that their stew was not enough and had dry chicken and vegetables that did not go well with the overall dish.
Top Cook Season 20 becomes extraordinary with each passing episode. Before long, the competitors will face much tougher difficulties that will push them as far as possible and test their culinary skills. Observers must stay tuned to see what else is available to them.
