The fundraiser was aimed at raising $10,000 and has already raised $18,575, with the help of 231 contributors, as of this writing. Paula Mendoza, a contributor to the fundraiser, said:
“Rest in peace, My anchor. I am so heartbroken that you were such a light force and always made friends with everyone you met. Your contagious smile, your laugh, and your strength will always be remembered. Sisters for Life, sisters for life.”
Authorities also asked people who may have lost a family member or friend in the accident to contact the Law Offices of Daniel Kim. Officials are currently trying to find out if the accident caused any more casualties.
Law enforcement officials have yet to determine the exact cause behind the accident and are currently investigating the case.
