The Kansas City Chiefs they are still perfect in the preseason after defeating the Arizona Cardinals 17-10 on Friday night. Fans enjoyed performances from both the first team and the reserve squad, but there was one notable absence during the 60 minutes of play: wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Talking to the media after the game, head coach Andy Reid said it was the result of a annoying hamstring. Tyreek had a hamstring that got a bit strained in practice,” Reid said. “He thought he could go, and then during warm-ups, he tensed up again. We chose to keep it out of there. ”

Without Hill on the field, Mecole Hardman was able to get some extra receptions, including this impressive touchdown reception from what appeared to be a pitch from Chad Henne.
“It took me a minute to find the ball, so when I found it, I knew it was going to be short, so I said, ‘Okay, let’s go find this. Don’t drop it, ‘” Hardman said after the game. Hopefully, Hill will be able to bounce back before a crucial matchup in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns.
Is the race between Usain Bolt and Hill official?
Over the past few weeks, Hill and former track and field Olympian Usain Bolt have exchanged words about who is the fastest runner and who would win in a race between the two.
“Usain Bolt left the game for a reason, right?” Hill told reporters on July 30. “It’s old, it’s washed, and you can’t see me for 40 yards. Hundred-meter run, yeah, that’s what it does. But a 40-yard dash, according to this, Usain Bolts, you can’t see me. ”
Bolt explained the backstory of their long-standing “rivalry” on Pat McAfee’s show a day before Hill’s comments:
“We were sitting and we were talking. He was like he could take me, and he was talking, ‘blah blah blah,’ but then I went to the combine a year, and if you’re going online right now, I ran a 4.22 in my sweatshirts and some shoes. . I said to Tyreek, ‘You don’t have a chance!’ ”
Well, it looks like Hill might have a chance, but it could cost you a valuable piece of hardware.
The new father of twins was a guest on The Dan Patrick Show on August 12, and Patrick proposed a fair exchange of one of his gold medals for Hill’s 2020 Super Bowl championship ring.
The eight-time gold medalist did not hate the idea, but argued that Hill would not co-sign the bet. That would be great … I don’t think he [Hill] going to go for it. We should think about it, we should think about it a bit. ” Bolt may have spoken too soon. From the looks of this tweet, Hill could be ready the week after Super Bowl 2022. Just give the fans what they want, you two.

Terrell Owens had some thoughts of his own. When asked by TMZ Sports Who would honestly win between two, the retired wide receiver didn’t give Hill a chance.
“We ran last year”Owens said. “He said he would take me like 10 steps and he would beat me at 100 and I don’t even know if he won me a yard!
“So to think that he can beat Usain Bolt ?! I mean, directly, there is no possible way. I mean, have you seen this guy run?
Bolt is a beast on the track and even four years out of the sport, anyone who dares to compete against him could still smoke. And even with an impressive 4.2 40-yard run in 2016, TO is still giving it to the real professional sprinter.
“He’ll have a better chance of trying to run with me and maybe beat me by several yards, but he’s not touching Usain Bolt! That is not even happening! ”
From TO’s lips to God’s ears, there you have it.
