She previously served as Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Russia and Eurasia in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and as a senior expert at the Central Intelligence Agency.

Kendall-Taylor, a senior fellow and director of the Transatlantic Security Program at the Center for the New American Security, was also on the Center’s senior management staff.
