Amaravati, Sept 12 (IANS) Farmers from 29 towns in Amaravati district set out on a second Maha Padyatra from here on Monday to petition the Andhra Pradesh government to execute the High Court’s request to upgrade Amaravati as the main state capital.

After offering petitions at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy shrine in Venkatapalem, the pioneers and members of Amaravati Parirakshana Samithi (APS) and the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Amaravati cattle farmers began the long trek, which corresponds to the end of 1,000 days of his dissidence against the trifurcation. from the state capital.

Cattle farmers, horticultural workers, ladies and people from different backgrounds take part in the Padyatra. They vowed to continue their battle until the state government withdraws its transition to having three state capitals.

The region resonated with the slogans of ‘Jai Amaravati’ as the padyatra began in sight of the heads of all ideological groups, as well as managing the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).

The coordinators drive the padyatra with an extraordinarily illuminated car. The members offered exceptional petitions to the symbols in the car and walked alongside the car. A gathering of clerics will proceed with supplications through the Yatra.

The padyatra with the trademark ‘Build Amaravati Save Andhra Pradesh’ is proposed to finish at Arasavalli in the Srikakulam area on November 11 after passing through 16 localities.

Telugu Desam Party (CPI) pioneer and former pastor Maganti Babu, Communist Party of India (CPI) pioneer K. Narayana and heads of Congress, BJP, Jana Sena and different meetings were available.

From the start, the padyatra will close at Mangalagiri after passing through Krishnayapalem, Penumaka and Yerrabalem.

Once again, the coordinators said that their second padyatra will include that people from different districts were also against the trifurcation of the state capital.

The National Court gave a signal last week to the march hours after the police did not give the authorization. However, the court has given the go-ahead to the coordinators on the condition that no more than 600 people should participate in the walk.

Earlier, Police Director General Rajendranath Reddy made a request denying consent for the match for fear of breaking harmony. Last year, ranchers adopted a 45-day padyatra from Amaravati to Tirupati. The police had imposed different limitations during the trek called Nyayasthanam (High Court) to Devasthanam (Tirumala shrine).

A bench of three adjudicators had articulated the trial on March 3 on 75 petitions registered by ranchers from Amaravati and others that prove the measure of public power for the trifurcation of the state capital.

After coming to drive in 2019, the YSRCP had changed the previous government’s choice of TDP to promote Amaravati as the main capital of the state.

He chose to foster three state capitals: Amaravati, Visakhapatnam and Kurnool.
