Alyssa Schueller recorded an incident at Epcot in Orlando, Florida, last week in which staff escorted her to change clothes to comply with the dress code. “Being escorted to a free shirt because mine is ‘inappropriate,'” she wrote in the video posted on TikTok on Friday. In the video, Schueller shows herself following an employee around the park before showing a glimpse of her blouse, a strappy black number that reveals her midsection.

In her comments, she claimed that she had previously worn the same outfit at Animal Kingdom, which is another Disney-run park in Orlando. “FYI, I was at Animal Kingdom ALL morning with no problems,” she wrote. “I went to Epcot and this happened. I went back to [Animal Kingdom] and had no problem once again. ”

Schueller urged the theme park to be more consistent in enforcing her dress code.

“If Disney wants to endorse a dress code, then they must do just that,” she continued. “But the inconsistency … please.” Disney World on her site advises visitors that “appropriate clothing, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times.”

“The parks are an informal and familiar environment. Making sure the parks are family-friendly is an important part of the Disney experience. In that spirit, we ask you to use your discretion and common sense, ”said the parks.

“Disney reserves the right to deny entry or remove anyone wearing clothing that is deemed inappropriate or that may detract from the experience of other Guests,” she continued.
