He began his professional combined hand-to-hand wrestling career in July 2007 and had amassed a win-loss record of 14-2 competing in local and local previews in Brazil such as Hikari Fight, Rocinha Fight, Watch Out Combat Show, Shooto Brasil, WFC, Fatality Arena and MMA Fight Show.
