Alex Holden is identified as the missing son of two Missouri state judges who has been found dead in Sacramento, Calif., nearly a month after he went missing. His mother is Greene County Judge Margaret Palmietto and his uncle is former Missouri Gov. Bob Holden.

According to the reports of the News Leader cited, Holden left his Sacramento apartment and went missing after an “argument” with his girlfriend.

Death & Cause of Death
According to ,the Sacramento Police Department, the body found in the river near Highway 160 and the American River Bike Trail around 3 p.m. Sunday is said to be of Alex Holden.
“While this is not the outcome we hope for in any missing person case, Alex’s family finally has closure and can now begin the healing process after what has been a long month”, police spokesman Karl Chan claimed, according to the paper.
His parents told police that their son’s disappearance was uncharacteristic of him.

Investigators have not determined any cause of his death.

Greene County Judge Calvin Holden announced the death of Holden to the newspaper.
He is described as a “great, caring, compassionate person”.
The Sacramento Police Department said they found the body in the river near Highway 160 and the American River Bike Trail around 3 p.m. Sunday.
Family said Sunday detectives and the coroner’s office notified them that Holden’s passport and debit card were found on the recovered body; the body’s clothing also matched Holden’s description.
