A spokeswoman said: “Officers responded to the incident together with the Welsh Ambulance Service. There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances. The closest relatives have been informed and HM Coroner has been informed.” The team was playing in a memorial patch against Crynant at Cwmllynfell’s Parc-y-Bryn field.
