Adriana Davidson was found dead at the Ann Arbor Pioneer High School football stadium near Detroit. After being missing for four days, the 15-year-old’s body was discovered by the county sheriff’s K-9 unit.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office announced on Twitter that Adriana Davidson’s body was found shortly before 1 p.m. m. on Monday, January 30, 2023. They said it was a K-9 unit that located the teen’s body.
A second part of this tweet thread offered condolences to the Davidson family. They also thanked everyone for their help and support in the search for the teen. Adriana Davidson was reported missing Friday after she failed to return from school.
Although the reason and motive for Adriana’s death are not clear, the police are doing everything possible to locate the person responsible and the reason for her death.
Her parents were concerned when Adriana didn’t come home from school on Friday. Adriana’s friends and family searched extensively for her, but when her efforts were unsuccessful, they turned to the police. Davidson, who was just a sophomore, was reported missing around 12:10 a.m. Saturday and the Sheriff’s Department sent search parties to locate the teen.
Surveillance footage shows Adriana Davidson getting off the public bus in Ann Arbor on Friday. Her friends interacted with her and informed them that she was not feeling well, according to WXYZ. More footage showed Adriana Davidson reappearing at the school around 12 noon, but not set foot inside the school building.
Anthony Lopez, the teen’s brother, posted on Facebook Saturday and said Adriana’s phone was found on a tennis court in Pioneer Hill. He added that the person who found it gave it to Adriana’s friend. Lopez noted:
“I bet she’s ‘just a teenager,’ but no teenager leaves her phone in 2023.”
Lopez also added that a student had told Adriana’s best friend that she was seen at a bus stop with a man who was wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants. He added that the student said it did not appear that Adriana and the man knew each other.
The teen’s father, John Davidson, in an interview with WXYZ, said he last spoke to his daughter on January 27, 2023, as he was leaving to catch the bus. He called and texted her repeatedly when she didn’t come home that Friday. John added that he became concerned when her daughter didn’t respond to her texts or calls like she used to.
Anthony Lopez also said Adriana’s best friend told him that he had last seen the teen leave school and sent her a text asking if she was okay. To this, Davidson responded with a “No”.
Anthony and John discussed finding Adriana’s phone after she was reported missing. They said it was a red flag for them, as she wouldn’t have run away or wandered off without her phone.
Lopez added:
“I know that wherever she is, she is not there willingly.”

The county sheriff said the Ann Arbor Police Department will take over the investigation into Adriana’s death since the scene was within city limits.
After announcing the news of Adriana’s death, the Ann Arbor Pioneer High School faculty sent their heartfelt condolences to her family. They also offered their support to the Sheriff’s department in the investigation.
The school mourned the death of Adriana Davidson and also offered advice and support to students. They have urged the students to seek any kind of support to help them deal with the teen’s death.
After learning of her death, netizens took to social media to say they hope the police can find and punish the person responsible for Adriana Davidson’s death.
