Srivastava began her career with the television series Dera from 1992 to 1994. Srivastava made her debut in the historical film Bandit Queen as Puttilal in 1994. She was featured in the film Sanshodhan as Chunni Singh in 1996. In 1998, he appeared in the thug activity misdeed film Satya as Inspector Khandilkar. Srivastava appeared in the movie Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar! as Tito and got positive audits in 2000. The film is loosely based on the series of Joshi-Abhyankar murders in Pune between 1976 and 1977. The following year, he appeared as Advocate Kamlesh Mathur in the chilling neo-noir film Ek Hasina Thi. The film was interestingly presented at the New York Asian Film Festival.
He appeared in the malicious movie Black Friday as Badshah Khan in 2004. It gives an account of the moments that caused the explosions and the police examination that followed.
He took on the role of Sameer, a lonely and held-back traveler in the thriller Kaalo in 2010. In 2019, he was cast in the Super 30 real drama film as Lallan Singh, Shriram’s insidious colleague. He acted in the 2020 drama film Raat Akeli Hai as MLA Munna Raja. He made a sincere and secret chilling movie Haseen Dilruba as Inspector Kishore Rawat in 2021.
