She had grown up in Nepal. She initially started posting photos to her Instagram in September 2012. Aditi transferred an image with her mother to Instagram in October 2017.

She felt genuinely honored to have had the steady help of her mother throughout her life, without which she would not have had the opportunity to stay solid and adapt to the fast paced and demanding life of Mumbai.

Budhathoki has said that it was when she had just finished high school that she started getting offers to show for various magazines. Realizing her presence in the Kathmandu media circuit, she embarked on her quest for the charming universe of Bollywood in 2016.

She has discovered that she never saw herself as a model and that she would like to be known as an entertainer. When she started demonstrating in her younger days, it had been something different for magazines and plugs and she hadn’t yet walked the catwalk. She has added that acting has been her most memorable love and she has always loved being in front of the camera.

Aditi has discovered that she never intended to move to Mumbai. She often went to Mumbai with her mother on occasions, and it was sheer karma that accidentally led her to find a skills director for a promotions agency, who then offered her a spot in a TV ad. Since she always wanted to act, she got excited to get the big open door and quickly agreed.

She has described that her most memorable business had been for the noodle brand Maggi. She had a lot of crazy shots for the ad where she became convinced that acting was her real calling.
