Adhir Kalyan was born on August 4, 1983 in Durban, KwaZulu Natal to a Hindu family. His father’s name is Jitendra Kalyan and his mother’s name is Sandy Kalyan. He has a relative named Kirthi Kalyan. Adhir tutored him at Marklands Secondary School, Durban.
