The Denver based television station holds broadcast rights to National Football League (NFL) exhibition games which feature the local team, the Denver Broncos, and was also the local broadcast home of the National Basketball Association (NBA) team, the Denver Nuggets. Other teams it has broadcast include the National Hockey League (NHL) team the Colorado Avalanche, and the Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise, the Colorado Rockies.

Aside from her work there, she also interned at the newspaper called The Coloradoan, a daily newspaper based in Fort Collins. For her personal life, it is known that Chin married longtime boyfriend Mike Schmidt in 2014. While details about their relationship are scarce, it is known that he works as a software engineer. They have two children together, and despite their busy work schedule, manage to maintain a good family life.
