Tracker Wolkonowski, an American Idol contestant, also goes by the nickname “HunterGirl.” She tried out for the 20th season of the show, airing on ABC on February 27, 2022. Tracker is a recording industry (music business) student substitute at Middle Tennessee State University. HunterGirl is a Fellow of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). The contestant participates in two non-profit musical treatment reunions, Operation Song and Freedom Sings USA. According to her LinkedIn page, helping soldiers recount her encounters has been a deep-seated desire. She expressed:
“I have never invested so much energy working with soldiers and sharing their stories through music. We go to various parts of the country to create with veterans in the hope of contacting any number of lives that can be afforded through the force of attunement.”
Who is Hunter Girl? Tracker Wolkonowski, known as “HunterGirl,” is a 23-year-old national artist/musician from Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee. She began performing in her grandfather’s congregation at age three and began making melodies at age nine. At age eleven, the artist moved to Winchester, Tennessee, with her family, and she began performing at the nearby church and participating in various singing challenges. Tracker began playing in various venues across the United States when she was a child and she won the 2014 Texaco Country Showdown at age fifteen.
HunterGirl After leaving high school, the artist moved to Nashville and began performing on different stages in and out of the city with her Oviation guitar. At the same time, she was concentrating on the music business at Middle Tennessee State University. HunterGirl won numerous songwriting contests while she was in school, including Nash Next and the eminent Nashville Songwriter Association International two years in a row. She has opened for notable artists such as Old Dominion, Kane Brown, Alan Jackson and many more at the Kansas Country Stampede and other music events.
Tracker comes from a long tail of military aid and has a lot of respect for veterans. He also teams up with other music treatment gatherings, like the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans Center and Soldier’s Child, to help transform veterans’ stories into melodies. HunterGirl examines the skills he acquired while working on Lower Broadway on his LinkedIn page. She expressed:
“While working in the wild air of Lower Broadway, I gained some useful insights into capabilities. I’ve figured out how to be a sound specialist, guitarist, bassist, booking specialist, online media marketer, artist, performer, human jukebox, and a shoulder for the llaneros to sob on.”
HunterGirl In January, the artist announced her entry into American Idol through a post on Facebook. She also shared an authority flyer for the show with the caption:
“I’m going to the moon! Sort of… I’ll be a person on the 20th season of #AmericanIdol, which will debut on ABC on February 27th! The beginning of the intro starts RIGHT NOW.”
Every time she tweeted The View test film, with magisterial comments about the show, the vocalist provided fans with a review of her experience on American Idol Season 20.
