After a clash with another figure skater, Hwang Dae-Heon was excluded from the semifinals of the men’s 500 meters at the 2022 Olympics. Numerous Chinese netizens referred to this episode as “cheating” in the comment area. To overwhelm the hurtful comments, countless Korean and general fans of both the symbol and BLACKPINK put empowering messages and comments on the image in response to the wave of not enduring.
