They were seen as guilty of killing many lives, including David Estrada, Nathaniel Shoffner, José Ortiz, Marco Carillo, and Claudia Gutiérrez-Cruz.

Meanwhile, Hausner was found guilty on 80 of 87 statutory felony counts. He was sentenced to death and later had finished it all in jail.
He had an older brother, Jeff, who had assisted in a portion of the shootings. In addition, he was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
In reality, it was Hausner’s brother, Jeff, who put him in touch with Sam. They had become old friends and in a short time they were consolidated in numerous misdeeds.
