As we gear up for episode 6 of The Bachelor on ABC in a week, obviously Genevieve vs. Shanae is going to be up front. What’s also clear is that the makers were eager to squeeze every possible moment of screen time out of their biggest rascal. Consequently, the decision to leave tonight’s episode where you must see it in a week to get acquainted with the final result.
Little by little, it looks like Shanae will be asked to leave for good in this episode, for the most part because Clayton Echard has virtually no standing to keep her around. So many of the ladies in the house are against Shanae now and he continues to bring her back, they might turn against him.
One of them even did that unmistakable thing at the inn! Clayton may not understand exactly how much is at stake on this date, it’s not just about keeping Shanae or sending her to her house; it’s similar in regards to him trying to keep everyone else’s trust this season.
Going back to Shanae versus Genevieve, does anyone else think the alter is arranging Shanae’s exit now? He’s acting super cocky because he’ll be fine on board the ship in Niagara Falls, while Genevieve is the one who’s anxious. The promo for the following week clarified that Shanae will say and do anything, assuming that means blaming Genevieve all the time.
God, and the promo also went back to the big event towards the end of the season: Clayton confesses to having been physically involved with several women before them, and it leads to breakups, outrage and pretty much everything else you’d expect. We have no idea why he thought granting this was smart, but he obviously wasn’t.
