Subway ‘Chill Pill’ Video Goes Viral on TikTok, Twitter

TO New York The subway “cold pill” video has gone viral. That’s the phrase a woman used towards a man on the subway, who punched her in the face in response.

The Twitter page TikTok Libs posted the video with the caption “Proof 469 why I’ll never ride the New York subway.” One thing that upset some people on social media is the fact that many people saw the man hitting the woman without intervening. You can watch the video below. Note that it contains a scene of violence in addition to graphic language.

The man was angry at the woman’s use of the word ‘cold pill’

@ meannn.beauty is the page on TikTok and Instagram that initially shared the video. “My Train Ride in New York,” it was captioned. “This man was already in a difficult situation when he got into the car and told people to do it to him and his children. All she said was that he needs a pill to cool down and his kids repeated it to him and it was just from there. ”

On Instagram @ meann.beauty wrote, “mfh What Be Wrong??‍♀️ I wanted to help Ole Girl Soo Bad, but the way she looked like The whole train would have seen me get him to bang my ass and probably his . Children ?? You need to break up with your boyfriend / husband ASAP because hell Nooo “.

The video shows a man arguing with a woman before punching her in the face. The video has had 2.8 million views. “Tell me to my face, man, about the cold pill,” says the man. The woman repeats “cold pill” and he hits her. Nobody does anything to intervene. The man repeats that it is his business, using a racial slur and swearing. He said he did not have “the respect of people like you, of all these races.” He said he wanted people to “get out of the way.” According to Fox News, the incident occurred on the “D” train, although the exact location was unclear.

The NYPD is investigating

According to the New York Post, the New York Police Department said it is “aware of the incident” and is “investigating the assault.” People commented on the original user. Instagram page:  “Thank goodness you recorded this! If you hadn’t, I’d probably still be on the train hitting more women. ” “And he was trying to justify hitting the lady too by making it race matters ?” “If I was the train with you, we could have shot him down … smh.”
