A man who broke into Windsor Palace with a stacked crossbow to kill the late Sovereign has been condemned to nine years in prison with a further five years on broadened permit.

Jaswant Singh Chail, a 21-year-old individual, has been condemned to nine years in jail with five extra years on broadened permit for breaking into Windsor Palace equipped with a stacked crossbow with the goal to hurt the late Sovereign. The occurrence happened on Christmas Day in 2021 when Chail entered the palace grounds and proclaimed his goal to hurt the Sovereign.

Upon the arrival of the interruption, Chail, a lover of the Star Wars establishment, sent a custom made video through WhatsApp to his loved ones in which he communicated regret for his arranged activities and embraced the persona of “Darth Chailus,” a Star Wars character. In the video, he was seen wearing dull dress and a metal veil, copying a Star Wars miscreant.
