ACT police have for years focused their investigation on two men who traveled from Melbourne to burgle the house, and they believe a second man remains at large.Police believe someone in Melbourne’s Hungarian community may have vital information about who is responsible for Ms Palasics’ murder. The people of Palas were also victims of aggravated burglaries in 1997 and 1998, thought to be linked to the third fatal case. The $500,000 reward, first offered in 2012, is still available to anyone who can help police obtain a successful conviction for Ms Palasics’ murder. As a police officer, it’s a great day for officers to be able to appeal to family members that the person responsible for the death of a loved one has been identified and is now in custody,” ACT Detective Inspector Scott Moller said.
