The officers were called to the Crofton cemetery, in front of Lychgate Green, shortly after 15:45 BST on Monday. According to Hampshire Constabulary, Mrs. Blackwood was declared dead shortly after despite the medical treatment on the scene. Mr. Suter appeared before in the Portsmouth Magistrates Court. He was sent into custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Friday.
