Richard Bilkszto was an educator and also an anti-discrimination advocate in the TDSB. he passed away last week. He left a legacy of advocacy for public education. He was a very experienced person. He was an educator for the past 24 years. he was living a very happy life but unfortunately, his life took a very intense and negative turn. he faced a lot of bullying during a diversity, inclusion, and equity training session for the TDBS administration in 2021. Bilkszto, who had exhausted all other options, sued the TDSB administration in an effort to hold them accountable and bring about justice. He carried a heavy burden from the tragedy of 2021, a condition of misery that eventually destroyed him. May his soul Rest in Peace and may he get justice.
