“Top Chef Junior” host Vanessa Lachey commented on the production company’s post, writing, “We all love Fuller so much! And we will never forget his infectious smile, laugh, and butter tricks. Sending so much love his family. We will never forget Fuller! ”
Tuscaloosa, the Alabama Southern Ale House restaurant where Goldsmith worked as an assistant chef, also confirmed his death.
“Our collective hearts are broken. The SAH family lost our beloved and respected Fuller Goldsmith today,” the message read. “Fuller fought the good fight his entire life. From age four to seventeen, Fuller fought a valiant fight against cancer. Fuller lived to create delicious dishes and became the little brother of big brother Brett Garner, our chef. Executive. Goldsmith was a student at Tuscaloosa Academy and battled leukemia on four separate occasions since the age of 4.
In February, Goldsmith revealed on social media that he was undergoing radiation for the fifth time. “Unfortunately, the news about the tumor was not what I expected. Same leukemia has returned.
