Mr McCrossan told MailOnline: ‘My things were stolen, twice. Now I don’t have a store. I had to buy two new chairs and my tents were gone, twice. I couldn’t get it a third time.
When asked if he had told the police, he said: ‘No, I don’t see any cameras anywhere. I think what was happening was that there were some guys, some people hanging around. I have been to many of these events over the years. I thought it was okay to say I’m just going to go to the bathroom.
‘There were a few that weren’t open so I went up towards Green Park to go to the toilet there and thought it would be fine. And when I came back, they were gone. And I thought, oh shit, someone has taken my stuff.
He added: ‘My bag had phone chargers and all kinds of things and my GoPro. I bought my GoPro, £659, in March for my birthday and it was gone. I lost many things. “I bought a GoPro for my birthday because I go to a lot of interesting places and see interesting things.”
McCrossan added that he was now worried about leaving to go to the bathroom again. He said: “If I have enough confidence in the people around me, even though they have just arrived, I think they are fine, but I just have to be sure that I can leave and feel that I am not leaving.” come back and everything would be gone.
He also said that he was “tempted to go find another store” because there was a store that stocked them in nearby Piccadilly.
