Valentina has no prior convictions and she had a clean license prior to this offense. At one point during the procedure, Valentina tried to claim that the medication she was using to treat her new veneers had pushed her over the edge.

But after changing her statement, Valentina, who represented herself after falling out with her former lawyer, said: “I’m sorry, it will never happen again.”
She added: “I felt good before I got in the car, but I started to have a bad turn when I tried to turn left.” I only had two and a half glasses of prosecco, but I realize I shouldn’t have gotten in the car in the first place.
‘This other lawyer was trying to make me look like something I wasn’t, trying to get me to plead not guilty all the time. I recently had my teeth done and have been using this alcoholic medicine and thought that might have been it.
‘I am a single mother of a three-year-old boy. The father never sees him. I’m in the middle of creating a beauty business, but that will have to wait now.’
