When the sportscaster was younger, she enjoyed playing tennis, softball and looping. She also liked to watch sports, and since she was seven years old she has wanted to work as a sportscaster.

She and her father watched sports together as often as possible. Willow Narrows, who covered sports alongside Ahmad Reshad on NBA Inside Stuff, was the motivation for her work.
