He continued to act inconsistently as officers approached and tried to capture him, City of Stamford Assistant Police Chief Richard Conklin said.
Ultimately, the officers pulled Gordon over and arrested him. A collapsed blade was traced in Gordon’s pocket, as well as an immobilizer and knuckle braces in his backpack, Conklin said. In addition to carrying a dangerous weapon, he was charged with second-degree committing and disrupting police surveillance.

Gordon was born on April 4, 1983 in London, Great Britain. He was raised in Mount Vernon, New York. The Knights of Mount Vernon won the 2000 New York State Organization and Public Titles under his initiative. Gordon was among the top 40 volunteers in the country.
Gordon joined the College of Connecticut and helped the UConn Huskies win the NCAA title.
After being drafted by the Chicago Bulls, Gordon became the top new kid in history to win the NBA Sixth Man of the Year grant in 2005. Over time, he played for other NBA teams, including Detroit. Cylinders, Charlotte Catamounts and Orlando Enchantment.
Gordon played 11 NBA seasons and 4 season finale games. He is married to Sascha Smith. Gordon calls for a game recovery approach called “Of Our Own”. In 2017, he engaged in some matters related to the state of peace and the law.
