Gaurav Sharma is a New Zealand specialist and legislator. Dr Gaurav Sharma was drawn to the New Zealand Labor Party before joining Phil Goff’s parliamentary mission in 2014. After returning from the US after his MBA, Sharma represented the Labor Party in the New Zealand electorate. Hamilton West in the 2017 political race and was 70th on the Work party list. He failed to win the seat against the occupier, but increased Labor’s share of the vote from 25.57% to 36.61% (an increase of 11.04%) compared to the 2014 results.
