Jennings paid $36,000 for the chair. “I got it because I really wanted it,” Jennings said, CourtTV detailed Thursday night.

Jennings called the sofa “totally nice” and projected that visitors would have to lie down to rest on the familiar furniture set. She also bought some beds, bags of fishing supplies, and duck fakes that had a place with Murdaugh.

“The sofas were definitely the feature of the night,” he added. Jennings said he doesn’t really accept that he overpaid. He intends to put it in his Georgia heist, Broomsedge Pole and Firearm. In addition to love seats, other Murdaugh stuff included mounted longhorns that cost $10,000 and tortoise shell-enhanced lights that sold for $800.
