On June 21, 2000, Ronnie McDowell was staying at his partner Billy’s home at 1280 Olive Drive in Green Ocean, South Carolina. McDowell was forced to leave his home due to an aggressive behavior problem at home and decided to spend the night at the Earthlings’ house.

That same night, McDowell and Brown would be seen as being beaten and hacked to death. Police arrived on the scene when Earthy colored partner Connie rushed to her father’s trailer with her three children around midnight.

Connie told Horry Province Police that two veiled intruders had broken into her home and started beating her better half. By the time McDowell stepped in to save him, he faced a similar fate to Brown. Surprisingly, Connie also let the police know that the intruders were her brother Andy Neely and her anonymous partner.

However, the police found several conditions in Connie’s story, starting with the fact that Andy was an old friend of her better half and that Connie’s children never saw the hidden men enter their home.

It would soon be discovered by Connie’s mother, Melba Nealy, that Andy Nealy, Connie’s brother, and Jodis Washington, Melba’s girlfriend, had committed the homicide on June 21. Connie’s sister, Renee Young, was also a part of it.

While the earth-colored family started out as a happy family, it didn’t take long for Melba Nealy to get word to Connie that Billy had started to be really oppressive towards her and the kids. According to Renee, Connie had asked for their help in killing her partner, and she was responsible for setting up the entire homicide.

The arrangement was to go after Billy Beam. However, McDowell should not be there tonight. Andy told the police that keeping McDowell alive meant abandoning an observer. Thus, after killing Billy Beam, Andy took the place of his partner, who later met a similar fate.

For the murders of Billy Beam Brown and Ronnie McDowell, Connie and her family were sentenced to prison, and Connie was offered a life sentence. Jodis Washington was found not guilty by the jury.
