Chelsea Jane Edwards, a 28-year-old educator at Indooroopilly State School, was charged with two counts of grooming. She was also charged with a listing of disgusting treatment in association with a child under the age of 16.

The state Child Safety and Examination Unit took up the Chelsea Jane Edwards case in late February after an objection was stopped. No additional information on the case has been released.

On May 2, Chelsea Jane Edwards will appear at Southport Officers’ Court. Edwards has been missing since Walk 10, the day the claims were reported. The school has around 2,500 students and is perhaps Queensland’s most distinctive public establishment.
