Lil Tay, the controversial internet personality who went viral in 2018 at the age of 9, is now assumed to be around 14 years old. She has been MIA on social media for over four years. However, netizens are sharing a video of an older-looking girl who they believe is an adult Lil Tay.
However, the claim was quickly refuted after user @JayCartere posted a screenshot of the girl’s TikTok profile on Twitter.
According to the screenshot, the girl who is believed to be an adult version of Lil Tay is called Jannine Thahswee on TikTok. Another concrete piece of evidence to discredit the claim is Tay’s age. In 2018, she claimed to be nine years old. So in 2023, she should be fourteen years old.
Jannine Thahswee apparently looks much older than a 14-year-old girl. She has more than 8k followers on TikTok. In 2020, Jannine shared a video in which she recounts how she and her boyfriend met and how her relationship developed over two years.

Tay’s mother stated that she would allow him to pursue her passion. Jason, the nine-year-old older brother, also didn’t seem concerned about the impact of negative social media fame on his sister.
