Lindell, perhaps one of the most prominent election intrigue scholars of 2020, said government specialists took his phone while questioning him about Tina Peters, a Colorado representative who is accused of interfering with a political career by casting a ballot. Newsweek.

Specialists then told Lindell they had a court order to withhold his phone and asked him to turn it over. Lindell sent the Washington Times a letter, he said, along with the court order that said “an organization with the United States and a Federal Grand Jury in the District of Colorado.”

Last week, Peters, a Mesa County clerk who ran for the GOP pick for Colorado Secretary of State in June, argued that he was not guilty on 10 counts of crimes and misdemeanors that included tampering with the political team and official irregularities, Newsweek said.

Peters is blamed for allowing an unapproved person into a secured office during an annual Mesa County product update run by Dominion workers in May, after which sensitive data from the machines was posted on the web.
