Several Nollywood artists and government officials honored with the honor, Funke Akindele, have showered petitions on his partner Kemi Afolabi amid his health challenges.
Kemi Afolabi shared a post on Instagram where she was seen at an air terminal in Miami while heading to an undisclosed area. The mother of one followed up the post with a notice notice to skeptics of her making fake demonstrations using her photos.
His fans and associates responded to the post, including Mercy Ebosele, Yomi Fabiyi, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Muyiwa Ademola, and Funke Akindele. Funke Akindele poured out pleas on Kemi Afolabi and encouraged her to stay positive as God has idealized her recovery.

Sharing a goofy video of Funke Akindele on the web, Kemi Afolabi implored the talented artist to keep developing nimbly and living longer. Kemi Filani provided details on March 11, 2022, when Kemi Afolabi spoke about her lupus revelation and what she had experienced.
The beautiful Yoruba artist spread the word about this to the public through a meeting with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where she revealed that she had been determined to have lupus and only had five more years to live.
“I have lupus. It is not treatable. You simply need to take prescriptions until the end of your life. At one point when I was exhausted after spending so much I said I would stop and just trust death to come… but I got discouraged for my little girl and want to keep spending the N1.2 million on medication nap week after week . to get ahead… I have sold my vehicles, property, business capital etc… and Funke Akindele has been helpful, Toyin Abraham, Mercy Aigbe and others have connected and been there… but I really need more help to have the option to continue with my prescription…”.
Since then, a large number of his associates and fans have shown him their affection and support even as he battled the disease.
