Counterbalance and Cardi B are celebrating their son Wave’s first birthday with a small-scale vehicle show to celebrate the first year of his life. The couple is famous for ruining their children and the situation was the same at Waves’ birthday celebration.
On Sunday, Offset shared a progression of birthday messages as he shared his affection and pride for Wave. “MY GREAT OLA IS 1 YEAR OLD TODAY,” Offset composed on Sunday while sharing a few minutes of his legacy over the past year. One of the photos showed Offset interestingly holding his son while he was still covered by the clinic cover, while another showed him sitting alone in a creek.
The Migos rapper also shared some Instagram stories to pay tribute to Wave. One of them showed them on a shopping trip, while another showed him fixing his son’s cap while the boy was sitting in his stroller. He also shared a comeback of him and Cardi B with some of his magazine covers over the course of the past year.
Young Wave also received a smaller than normal gem-encrusted Mercedes-Benz G Wagon for her most memorable birthday from her aunt Hennesy Carolina, Cardi B’s sister.
Counterbalance and Cardi B have Wave alongside Kulture, a four-year-old girl. Cardi B also shared a couple of lovely messages on Wave’s birthday.
“He got his parents mad lol,” she captioned a photo of Offset and Wave. In addition to her sister Kulture, Wave has some relatives on her father’s side, her sister Kalea, 7, and her brothers Kody, 7, and Jordan, 12.
Cardi B also shared recordings on her Instagram Stories of Wave’s birthday celebration. Wave is seen crashing into his own group while he is surrounded by photographers. He and his sister Kulture are seen wearing matching denim coats like his father’s jeans, Cardi B’s coat, and his other relatives’ outfits. Wave might have been really late since he was watching everyone, except he seemed to stay up until around 9 pm
Cardi B also shared Wave’s birthday gathering, which included songs by Jamaican dancehall specialists Kranium and Popcaan as soca tunes blasted out.
Cardi B and Offset married in 2017, but the couple seemed to be having marital problems that led to Cardi B seeking a legal separation in 2020. All seems well with the couple now, however. Offset recently, in an incarnation interview, talked about being a father and having a blended family.
“It’s a gift to have the option to generally have them together and to have a spouse who is open and treats them like their children,” she said. “It may very well be a problem, but I don’t need to go through that, and that’s wonderful.”
“I feel like sometimes people get into a relationship with a man or woman who jokes around cynically, and I feel like people should accept and love that,” Cardi added. “I love our family and wouldn’t need it any other way,” she said.
