While Luke has been busy with his DC performance on Stargirl, it didn’t take long for his more established relative, Owen, to land a similar role in a godly series, but for Marvel. As of 2020, Wilson’s second relative has been important to the MCU in Disney+’s Loki, which stars Tom Hiddleston as the fan-favorite God of Mischief. In Loki, Wilson plays Mobius M. Mobius, a ruthless expert for the Time Variance Authority. Near the end of season 1, Mobius really took a backseat from TVA, with its turn scheduled to happen in Loki season 2, which will appear in mid-2023.

Even though the DC and Marvel universes haven’t passed on for clear reasons, it hasn’t escaped everyone’s attention that both of Wilson’s relatives are right now as part of both comic book properties. During another visit to Good Morning America to push the new Netflix movie Look Both Ways, Luke was asked if there was any family competition with Owen over Stargirl and Loki. Luke said it was just the opposite, as he and Owen have been given the option to share their various experiences, to control the process with:

“Not really, not as a matter of fact. It was interesting, we’d come back towards the end of the day and he’d say, ‘How was your day?’ [I would say] “It’s perfect, I was fighting Eclipso and Shadowland! How was your day?’ [Owen says] ‘Benevolence, Loki and I were fighting Kang the Conqueror!’ So off to limp through the different stunts we did. It was certainly captivating that we were both in a parceled-out house, but Marvel audiences appreciate being around them. They’re lovely people, Tom Hiddleston was an unprecedented person and he’s doing the second season of Loki right now, and a little later, Stargirl is nearing the end of this ebb and flow month.”

While Stargirl will be entering Season 3 shortly, Loki Season 2 has been filming since June, then stretched into 2023. Though they don’t talk about it often, this isn’t the underlying timing. a relative of Wilson has discussed the fascinating consolation of both taking care of a divine spectacle. In a 2021 meeting, Luke discussed how he barely grasped the plot points of Loki season 1, which was overwhelmingly focused on thoughts of Variants and time travel.
