Olivia Newton-John is being considered for an emotional revival of her beloved melodic 1978 film, Grease. The film is booked to return to AMC theaters on Friday in select metropolitan regions and continues to help explore breast disease.

“Regarding the late Olivia Newton-John: Countless of our US theaters by the end of this week will be showing her terrific 1978 hit Grease, again on the big screen,” AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron tweeted. “A conservative $5 insistence cost, and through our AMC Cares goal, we will give $1 per pass offered for dangerous development research chest.” According to Variety, the film will be shown in 135 AMC regions across the country.

The Australian artist passed away on August 8 at the age of 73, after ongoing battles with chest disease for several years. While Newton-John had a career lauded in news sources, his portrayal of Sandy Olsson in the 1978 film Grease cemented her in film history. He highlighted conversing with John Travolta in the main melodica of the film.

Newton-John’s somewhat long battle with the disease began in 1992 when she opened up to the world about her most critical finding of damaging breast development. She went on to help the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Center in Melbourne, Australia, and was a strong advocate for treatment and assessment of dangerous development.

His Grease co-star Travolta congratulated Newton-John immediately after his passing, sharing a photo of an energetic Newton-John on his online entertainment pages with a heartfelt message.

“My dear Olivia, you made our lives so much better,” she wrote. “Your impact was phenomenal. I love you very much. We will see each other not far away and we will all be together later. Yours when I saw you and forever and ever! Your Danny, your John!

Travolta’s award comes shortly after his partner, Kelly Preston, passed away at the age of 57, following his own secret battle with breast disease.
