Rita gave birth to a boy named Brandon Earl Sinks after marrying her husband Earl Sinks. They are all members of the music industry. Rita and her husband were married for over fifty years before her passing in 2017.

She spent more than 50 years of her life in Goodlettsville with her late husband, Earl Sinks, according to sources, and now lives there with her son, Brandon Earl Sinks. Rita’s 1970 album Jellybeans And Gumdrops was probably the last to be released. She seems like she stopped playing music ever since.
