Pearl Jam’s Vienna show has been canceled due to a throat injury sustained by entertainer Eddie Vedder. The band wreaked havoc on Europe’s intensity wave. The July 20 show in Vienna was cancelled.
Band articulation: “We were also anticipating the performance of Pearl Jam in Vienna tonight. Our singer Ed Vedder’s throat was hurt by the intensity, the residue and the smoke in the last open-air setting outside Paris. His vocal cords have not recovered despite the doctors’ consideration. This is terrible information for anyone.”
It went on: “The people who put on exhibitions and the individuals who participate… We are sorry as a band and have tried to perform in between. Ed is down. No throat available.”
