One morning Nash ended up in a pool of blood, and he assumed he had the flu, which caused the late diagnosis of his illness. He was in a trance-like state for quite some time and was left with two decisions: either cut out the appendages or have him killed by the infestation.

In the wake of the loss of his appendages, Tom was disappointed that he did not have the opportunity to play guitar. He mentored a few specialists and advised them to plan a framework so he could get back to work.

Nash got a sliding frame and mechanical arms with snares on his severed appendages, and with the help of snares he could play all the music he needed. The DJ continues to captivate the audience and let the people sway to his beats.
