Dennis Earl Bradford was arrested in 2009 for his misdeeds in 1990. He was detained in Arkansas after being distinguished by DNA evidence and sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Nevertheless, before serving his jail term, he committed suicide in the restricted cell where he was held. A deputy and a medical attendant found him and tried to revive him. They even took him to the trauma center of the University of Texas Medical Department, where he was subsequently announced dead.
As the examiners pointed out, he made a noose out of a duvet cover and hanged himself. The moment examiners informed him of the still-living victim, he wept and said that he had appealed to God for this. The video during the cross-examination was posted on CBC news.
Bradford lived close to the apartment where Schuett was arrested in 1990. At the time Bradford was imprisoned for his misdeeds, he was tied up and had two young children and three grown stepchildren.

After being chased, she lay in a field for 12 hours until she was found nearly dead by a group of children. A few days later, from her hospital bed, she took notes for the police to let them know that her aggressor had said his name was Dennis.
She even teamed up with a draftsman who drew the culprit’s photo that was remarkably close to Bradford’s old driver’s license photo. The agents had been looking for the case for quite some time and Schuett did not surrender in the same way.
