Virtual entertainment footage of the mission showed a wild scene with Abe still on the ground as observers yelled for an emergency vehicle.

According to observer reports, the suspect shot Abe nearby and was held by security personnel.

The suspect, who was detained by police, was wearing a cool T-shirt and dark jeans. As pointed out by Japanese chief of staff Hirokazu Matsuno, Abe had a chance around 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Hirokazu also said that the public authorities are trying to decide on his condition.
