As for the perpetrators, specialists have arrested two Chilean ex-progressives, Raul Julio Escobar Poblete (in May 2017) and Ricardo Palma Salamanca (in February 2018).

Poblete is being held in Guanajuato, while the other is most likely in France. The French government has reportedly denied sending him to Chile.
